SteelMaster will provide sealed shop drawings certifying that the roof system provided meets applicable code and project requirements. To provide an appropriate roof system, the specifying engineer should provide the following information regarding the project to SteelMaster:
- Confirm Following Dimensions:
- Variances on prototype design
- The outside radius of the roof is 60' -11" - please note if different
- Other inconsistencies with prototype
- Column centerline locations
- Sidewall to sidewall (bearing locations and ends of arches) distance is flexible
- Recommend end walls (front and rear walls) be a multiple of two feet column centerline to column centerline to match arch panel widths
- Unsupported cantilevered end of arches should not exceed 24 inches
- Anchor Bolt plan will be provided by SteelMaster
- Cite: Governing code and applicable edition, state or local amendments with all required design loads - snow, wind, and seismic including importance and exposure factors.
- Indicate: Required jurisdiction/state for Professional Engineer's certification & seal.
- Indicate or provide required loads, for concentrated loads indicate point of application:
- Special Loads
- Collateral loads, in pounds per square foot
- Point loads applied to roof system
- Loads for overhangs or eaves: Wind uplift or Ice dams
- Diaphragm Action Requirements, refer to accompanying sketches
- Indicate required diaphragm strength, v
- Indicate any loads applied to diaphragm, w, P
- Indicate if loads shown are ASD, "unfactored" or LRFD, "factored"
- Enclosure Classification
- Applicable internal pressure coefficients
